How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Omg! First egg since a fairy egg on Sept 12. Found in the roost this morning, not in the nestbox, so it’s a bit dirty.
I upped their layer feed to 22% when they started molting, and every night I toss out a few ounces of mealworms. I was very happy to see a nice egg this morning.

Zero eggs again yesterday. Seems like Brelly has roundworms, so we’re deworming the flock now.

After two years of owning my buff silkie Pino she finally laid her first ever egg! It's the brown one. We found Pino on the street with a severe head wound as an adult so we don't actually know her age. This summer I bought home my rooster Pauli d'Or. I think it's because of him?
The white one is from our silkie (Chan-)Tilly who is 1 year old.

I do this twice a year. Once you see roundworms in an egg you just cannot unsee that!

Three eggs today - I did a search but didn’t find any more.

I am glad they are taking a break, but wish they could stagger it so my customers can get eggs!
