How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

24 yesterday from our 30 GC's!!! I've sold 8 dozen over the past 2 days with another 2 dozen promised this morning but I've still got 6 dozen in the fridge. We were on vacation week before last and were gone over the weekend so eggs are piling up. On Friday I'll take them all in and put out an email saying "Y'all come!!!". The problem is that a lot of people are out on vacation at work right now trying to burn it up before the end of the year and my customer base has shrunk...

3/6 today, our third girl finally started laying. She is our only other true Ameraucana from the 6 we bought. YAY! half the flock is finally laying.

oh, vfem, I feel your pain

I've been down to 1 or 2 eggs a day for the last few weeks - those from my 2 Black Stars since the Houdan & Delawares are getting over moulting.
Then yesterday one of them exploded.
Black feathers all over the coop & yard & she looks like roadkill.
So I expect my egg count to dwindle accordingly.

Would you believe I actually bought eggs ($.59/doz) so I could continue feeding them to the chickens.
The "Good" homemade ones are for ME!

We have been getting no eggs from our three hens! Uggh!

I'm not sure what the deal is... our OEG is molting and the other two not sure

8/6 <<< yes that is correct - I have 6x OEGB hens and their nest had 8x eggs today.....

and yes I did collect their eggs yesterday

oh and add 1 cochin egg (the rest are molting)
