4, the girls are molting.

Yesterday, was the best egg day I've ever had . Got 5 eggs & sold a dozen for three bucks.I'm rich !! O No I gotta buy chicken feed . Yep, back in the whole again .

8/16...............every day the number keeps going up from 3-4-5 now 8 my family is going to be getting alot of free eggs once they all start laying.

alot of double yolks but did a search and found the answers I was looking for about why that was happening

Doing pretty good so far.
Got the 1st egg on 10/30

and heres how its gone since:

10/30 1 green egg
10/31 1 brown egg
11/01 1 green and 1 brown
11/02 1 brown
11/03 1 green
11/04 2 brown
11/05 1 brown. 1 green, and 1 BLUE!

I think i have at least 4 out of 8 pullets laying now. the green ones have been small size, and the browns and the blue are medium.
They will get larger right?

also, another noob question.. when you put them in the carton in the fridge.. pointy side down? or up? or does it matter?

5 eggs out of 8 possible. It is better than all of this past week. I had to take down my egg sign and turn people away.
