Only 2 out of a possible 6 hens. They are molting. Can't wait to get 6 of 6 again! Waiting is hard! How long do hens take to start laying after they finish molting?

They are egg layin machines!

2 out of 6 yesterday from my mature hens. 3 out of 4 from my pullets. One of the pullet eggs from my Wellsummer is as dark as milk chocolate.

Just the daily one from my leghorn. The others probably won't start laying for another 6-8 wks. They look jealous. AND she is using the nesting box....made her little nest in the straw. Yeah!
