How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Got 6 eggs from 6 hens.. doing good enough for me..lol..

2 so far today (9 AM) Both Ancona. A Faverolle was in the box but got out so I expect at least one more.

Yesterday - 7, though given the size of Echo's egg, I might count it as 8

This is Echo's "super sized" egg from yesterday next to her regular egg from the day before. She's been a 2 days on, one day off girl from the day she started laying. Won't be surprised if she takes off 2 days this time, she has "pre-paid" her Tuesday egg. BTW, she is the SMALLER of my Australorps. The other hasn't started laying yet. Any day though.




Update 4 PM, 7 eggs today including one Ancona XL.
And if Persephone isn't laying (haven't seen her in a box yet) Super Andromeda just laid her 10th mint green egg in as many days!
Haven't ever seen Zorra in the box either but I got another Australorp egg. So she laid or we have to elevate Echo to Super Echo. Broke her 2 on 1 off pattern with 3 in a row including the massive one yesterday.

Today's eggs in the holes plus the XL Ancona top left. Next to that is a store egg and then Echo's from yesterday.

6-8 a day from 14 hens. all but one of the ee's are laying...all green. i was hoping for blues, and greens, but next yr is around the corner-so who knows might get some other colors next yr.

One of my EE has starting laying almost every day. Got 5/8 today, 6/8 yesterday and the day before. Had to laugh, thought a real egg was the plastic egg and left it in there. DH found it and brought it in when he closed the run. I'm the one out there checking all the time, and he could tell the difference, I couldn't, lol. Think I am too tired!

I've been sick lately and relying on the rest of my family to check on my chicks. I went out this morning to find 3 fresh eggs. tonight I came out to find ANOTHER. 4/3! WHOO
