How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Finally the girls seem to be back in the egg laying business Got 9 eggs today! All good sizes too 1 medium 3 large 2 extra large and 3 jumbos!

We got 4 eggs from our 4 chickens. We're very fortunate that our girls usually give us an egg a day. It's been raining the past few days and today was overcast. We put them in their tractor in the yard to eat weeds, they loved it!

3/3 today and yesterday! Apparently as long as it is 40 degrees then everyone is happy and lays a lot.

I got my spiral egg holder for the Missus from Cackle Hatchery, they are common in the UK, but I think Cackle is the only one that carries it here, Stateside.

Here comes spring...

Zoe, Yolanda and Bridget have all gone from 2 on/1 off to 3 on / 1 off... Kaylee came out of her molt and laid today for the first time since she quit a month ago, Saffron started in the last week... and Inara just might lay three days in a row this next block.

The only one who's left is Nandi... and she should pick up REAL soon. Got a big fat solicitous squat from her today...
