How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

13/22 for the past 3 days......and yesterday my daughters found 1 of our hens dead in her nest. Autopsy showed she was egg bound.We were very sad!

Sorry to hear that!!!! I'd cry if anything happened to mine.

7/14. All brown and another soft shell! Hmm wondering if I don't have a 17 weeker starting to lay. Found her in the nest couple of times

been a fair week, considering temps over 100 almost every day. A tad cooler today due to storms passing over, and about 0.1" of rain today.
Anyways, here is the tally for the last 3 days:

Biggest day yet 11 , 7 were from my 9 big girls and 4 from my 18 wk. old chicks. It's so exciting going into the coop where my 14wk old -18wk old are and finding eggs
