We've had a couple soft eggs over the last few days, im not sure which girl there from, and their eatting them what can I do about the soft eggs, they have layers mash and ouster shells that they can get to all day!

The big Buff Orp, Goldie, finally went in and laid an egg!
Now one more Buff Orp, Locks, to go
I think it is the smaller egg in-between the two bigger ones
Of course the pinky and blue green are from my EEs and the browner ones from the NHReds

All 5 of my girls are 16 weeks old. I got my first egg yesterday. Today I got a softie. Im not sure what chicken layed it. I have one RIR, 2 Gold laced Wyandotte, and 2 buff orpingtons. All hens. Egg is light brown

Today I got a total of 10 eggs
I've been getting anywhere from 7 to 9 a day for about a week. today we ended up with two soft shells, but dont know who laid them.... I'd have to guess the AL's.

6/6 but one of my leghorns took her sweet time today. She is usually a morning layer and just popped it put about 2:00 PM. Oh well, we all have those kind of days!

Only 2/5 today. Both brown. Slow day for the ladies. On a high note, I painted my "eggs for sale" sign and got it hung. It looks really cute.

14 eggs today, , our White Leghorn laid *2* herself today! fWe have 14 chickens, but I don't think everyone has laid yet.......they are now 17 weeks old, have been laying for almost 4 weeks. I am pleased!

Still only 2 but it was raining too hard to round my rangers up and coop them. I do think 2 of my pullets just aren't quite there yet. They are showing interest tho!

We got 11 of 26 today. Our pullets are 20 weeks and 3 days old: 3 Rhode Island Reds, 3 yellow buffs, 10 production reds and 10 Silver Laced Wyandottes. They have been laying since July 23rd. The eggs are getting larger and they are nice brown eggs. I think most of the SLWs are not laying yet.
