How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

5/9 we have one 'lazy' girl... We haven't figured out which she is... That always lays way later than everyone else. I collect eggs before I leave for class around 10 and then when I get home at 4 there's almost always one egg there

Thanks Math apparently there is a name for that freaky egg called Lash eggs I was informed today via email, I feel much better knowing that and I hope I never see one again. cheers

6/6 back on track after one of my hens took a break yesterday!

Hi Math they seem to be doing fine only time will tell I guess. Yesterday I got three eggs brown small but normal, I am keeping tabs on the laying situation everyday writing things down so that I may be able to help others in the future through experience. Now I have another problem, my chickens started pecking at my feet (crocks) about three days ago one started and then they all (4) started doing the same. I just went in this morning to let them out into the chicken run and got pecked by the lot of them. It is maddening.
