How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I got THREE today. Two from our new chicks - their first egg. Yay!!!!!

I never collect today but yesterday was 2 eggs from one coop and 7 eggs from the second. I got diff breeds in each coop

I'm sure there's many people that don't post when they get low numbers... Out of my 17 laying hens, they lay around 12 one day and then 6 the next. I have another coop with older chickens, with around 12 hens and I have gotten 1-3 eggs a day for the last 2-3 months. It's just the way chickens are. Now that our days are slowly getting longer, hopefully your egg production will increase!

LOL, I have 5 hens alittle over a year old and 5 that are either three or four..( I cant remember) BUT I have ten pullets that will start laying hopefully in March or April so I know all will be well this summer and I just put 23 eggs in the bator for fall/winter layers...I am thankful to get what I do for sure, I had to buy eggs for the first time in 3 years last month and we hated it..
