5/6 today. Figured I was going to get a lot...there seemed to be a traffic jam this morning for the choice nesting box....

The girls are laying great but for the last 2 days.. all the eggs are frozen solid and cracked before I can get to them. Yesterday one of my BCM's was laying. I went inside to wait for her and went right back to her 30 minutes later to get the egg... I was to late, it was already frozen. The temp here this morning was 7 degrees. I wish they would lay in the warm nest instead of on the cold floor. That might help.

iris, have you tried ping pong balls in nest?? its how we trained ours to lay there. good luck!!
