6 Chicken egg's today

Temps at 107 this morning ....

I checked the Calendar and I could not find any chicken holiday

3 so far today, sadly one was eaten by head hen. I caught her n have placed golf balls in boxes. I trying to collect eggs often. what else can I do to stop this???

increase their protein intake and be sure to offer crushed oyster shell

ETA: had an egg in the nest box when I wok up this morning. It was Kirby's second egg. Cracked it, and it's fertile. Guess my 15 week Cockrell is an early bloomer.
