How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

@gander007 Did you weigh the egg? We got our third egg in three days now, only problem is that Veera has misunderstood the direction in which size should develop. It's gone from 30g to 29g to 27g today, on an 23 hour laying cycle. Hopefully she'll pause for a day soon and produces a decent sized egg, not much to eat in these practice eggs. Taste and structure was fine though for her first try.

My Limin laid two eggs yesterday. The first at about 11am then the other around 9pm, the second was without a whole of of hard she'll on it.

Could this be due to me worming her in the afternoon. She was standing around acting weird, then the egg popped out on the ground. She's still not acting quite right.

My eggs also get smaller as the week goes on. Then the hen will take a day off and the day after the eggs are back to the bigger size.
My Rhodebar for the last 2 weeks (in grams) 56-55-52-53-53-52-day off-56-56-54-53-52-53 and I would expect her to take today off. ;)

Two year old australorp: 61-60-58-56-56-day off-59-55-54-day off-57-55-two days off??-56-54

Isn't it interesting some of the things we learn from our chickens? Some of my other hens are much more regular with their weights, but there is definitely a trend of smaller eggs before they day a break.
