How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

1 egg today! I couldn't be more excited that we are getting at least 1 egg everyday since Saturday. This is out of 11 that could be potentially laying anytime now. I'm pretty sure it is our barred rock and SLW that are the two laying.

I think anyone on BYC gets it! Maybe everyone else it nuts and we are the sane ones! my sister said to me that it's funny how I talk lovingly about my chickens. She is thinking about getting some now! I only have 4 now but I am sure chicken math is going to sink in, definitely next year sometime. We are planning to hatch some ourselves!

4/8...One of the hens has suddenly decided to lay on the floor of the coop. They were all using the same nesting box, but maybe it's gotten too crowded!...Too bad they won't use the other one!!!

I've had 10 eggs for the last two days - a new record! All of my pullets are laying except for the EE and the OE. Once the broody starts laying again I could get a dozen a day!

WOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

14/14 today!!!!!!! All 7 RSL and 7 leghorns left me presents today!!!!!! And 1 brown egg was a double yolk and 1 white egg was a double yolk! Couldn't resist checking the eggs were soooo HUGE I had to look! So we had omelettes for dinner!
