Hi all! First time on this thread... Ours are new chickens, only been laying a few weeks. We have six hens, one white leghorn and the rest are brown egg layers... We've been getting three or so a day, with the white one getting consistently larger as she goes... and then today we got FIVE eggs! A couple of these are probably first eggs.

Anyway... so proud of them I thought I'd post a picture.

2/2 I gather about 9am. One is ice cold the other is nice and warm still.

2/4!!! But yay one of them is our newest and final layer. I am sooo happy and can't wait for the 1st 4 egg day now that all 4 are laying!

7/20 and a wet spot in the nest and dried yolk on the other eggs...there had been 8 eggs, I believe.

12/12 and 28 degrees outside, has been varying between 11/12 and 12/12 every day. GOOD CHICKENS!!!!!!
