Haha I even have BR's, I've gotta print out the abv cheat sheet that is on this site. My granddaughter always teases me about not remembering texting abv, lol. My BR lay a lighter egg as well, I don't have any DOM'S so I will put my money on them, lol.Barred Rock,Dominique.I'm still learning them myself!
The chickens appreciate it if you lay straw along the paths they normally use when it snows.Once again, 1 out of 4. We're down to 3 eggs in the fridge. If these girls don't start producing more than 1 a day, we're going to have to purchase eggs from the store. Yuck. We even have supplemental lighting although it's not one that slowly brightens. When it turns on, it's instantly at full light so not sure if that's affecting them or not. It also could be the snow on the ground - they HATE it!
