How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

3/13 yesterday and no signs of an eaten one

Hopefully today will be the same...with more eggs thought haha I'm just so happy they didn't eat one again.

7/10 + Scout today. And I figured it might be time for some updated pictures of Scout, living out in the coop with the big girls. I'm pretty sure now that Scout is a girl, but I keep saying, "He", "Him" and "His" all the time! Habit.

Those feathers certainly look rounded to me.

Feet are still curled, although not as badly as before I tried to straighten them, but that little disability sure doesn't stop him. He roosts on the big roosts with the girls, always between Agatha (mom) and one of our Marans, Cora.

That's Daphne in the middle...she photo bombed me! Scout is right behind her.

Scout has adopted this nest. As soon as his feet get chilly he heads in for a snuggle in the straw until they warm up a bit, then he's right back out in the run with the others. Ignore the chick feeder in the shot - there's nothing in it but chick grit. Seems he likes having his very own.

What breed is scout? She is so cute, I am glad to see she is doing well as an adult

She's (or he's) an Easter Egger - but Ken wants to name her Cat. because she seems to have 9 lives. Daughter Tam is voting for EverReady because she keeps on going and going!

But I think we'll just stick to Scout. She is doing very well, whatever she is! Thanks, guys!
