How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I don't know. I still haven't cracked it open yet.

This is her first laying season so, every now and then we get some odd eggs.

That makes sense... Young birds will have smaller eggs because they haven't matured fully... But if they are good layers and suddenly gives you a mini-egg... It's most likely stress egg....

I got lazy naming them. It started with Wella, she looked like a welsumer, and Della, looked like a delaware, then it went from there.

My 8 week old human baby is named Della

No names for my chickens, but I was going to name the delaware: Chicken Dinner, but today she started laying.

Well, I got 3 eggs today:

JInx (Lg. Bantam) in the NESTBOX

Bramha Mama (Bramha) in the NESTBOX

Oreo (Bantam) in the OLD CAT HOUSE IN THE COOP (Hey, it's sorta like a nest box...at least I don't have to crawl through shavings and poo to get behind stuff)

Mauka, I love elle names, my daughter's name is Holly Brielle, but when we went to Hawaii, we just called her "Bre". LOL

when she was 4 she is 18 now and had her own art exibit at a gallary...

This was a dress she made for a "Trashion" show last year and she won. sorry gallary just happened, proud mom.
