I'll bet this is the last bang of winter, and you will get a rapid spring thaw.

P.S. I also think those Easter bars are pretty, I never paid much attention to their looks until yesterday when I noticed they blossomed over night and got super pretty!

Wow, she is very handsome! I love her coloring and her crest. Her eggs sound pretty! Are they shaped like a CCL (fat and round) or like an Isbar's?

I can't wait to see the eggs my hybrids lay! It shouldn't be long, they are both checking out the nesting boxes.

I had a beautiful New Hampshire Red hen go missing today. I don't know if the predator was four legged or two legged. Someone was interested in getting one of my hens a few days ago.

I got 16 eggs today

I hate the 2 legged kind. It's so much more trouble disposing of the body.
