How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I'm new here, but I have 8 hens and I got 6 eggs yesterday and we have been having a little snow and cold temps, so I'm pleased with that. Hubby added a heat light to their coop yesterday so I hope they were warmer last night.

still getting 6 a day... from all 6 birds.

Is it the breed that determines partly if they stop laying in the winter?? Mine are Red Stars and they havent slacked off one bit so far...

i got about a dozen yesterday... and the best news is that my babies from this summer at both laying! they started laying a couple weeks ago - even with all the cold. yay ladies!

Got 5 eggs so far today from 8 laying age hens I may get more though.

Been a slow day - we got 3 eggs this morning - 2 chicken and 1 duck. Maybe more later? We've been getting 4-5 a day. The red stars are still fairly young, but I think they have started laying.

YEEE HAAAAW!! My girls gave me 14 eggs out of 17 girls..with two green eggs !!!..the non layers are a little bantam(my broody girl),a polish girl,(stuck up)and a retireee( all dried up hee hee hee).......so i wont bet the bank on those three....I am thrilled !!!
By the way thats the most they ever gave me...
