I also suggest looking at gluten. My sister was diagnosed with. Celiac disease last year. Lots of tests, pain and agony, after two miserable years, she went gluten free and lost 40 lbs in the last year. I got 8/17. It's been cold at night. I read and article on how to tell if my chickens are still layers or liars. Will take a look tomorrow.

Thanks... They've been running test sense thanksgiving when I went to the ER with pain on the 'double over and cry' scale... 5 days there, multiple tests and 4 months later still very little relief. I've completely changed my diet, started an exercise program to lose a little weight, had echoes, EKGs, ultra sounds.... Still nothing.

Anyway. Got 6/7 tonight... My ladies have given me a total of 20 out of 7 in 3 days...

Oh, NUTS! I've been so busy this morning being Dottie Domesticity before getting ready to move Mama Heating Pad and the babies out that I forgot to check for eggs. Guess I'd better get back out there!

I thank the young ones are coming of age and drop their egg's in burst or maybe the young lady's are learning to put the egg's in the neat rather then under one of the buildings either way I am excited over getting so many egg's in one day as I do have 14 lady's last count and eleven are under 24 weeks old .......

Best haul ever and everyone is laying, just not every day.

I just love these longer days... Hens in the compost as the snow melts away.
