How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I got 15 eggs from 7 hens. I just love my girls.

I got six eggs today....out of about 50 hens

I'm not sweating it. I figure the day is going to come when they ALL give me one egg in one day, then I'll be trying to figure out how to fit 50 eggs in my fridge!!

8 eggs from 9 hens. Every one of those laying an amazing 7 per week. One of our girls is a bit shy about getting started, but I suspect the others will shame her into getting down to business before long. We have 5 Barred Rocks, 1 Black Australorp, 1 White Leghorn, and two barnyard mix broody hens in our happy little flock. I started feeding mash in the morning with lots of extra protein, and added full spectrum lighting for 14 hours a day in the coop. Wondering if that's what did the trick...

I am averaging about a 12-14 eggs from 15 pullets about a month shy of becoming hens. I keep a flourestant light on during the winter. At the beginning of the winter when I didn't have it on I would get about 5-6 eggs a day.

Just one egg yesterday and NO eggs today. Lazy bums!!

5 eggs so far today but have had a full dozen a day for the last two days from 13 pullets. Go girls
