How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

1 egg today. 2 layers, and 4 pullets (2 are close to laying). The second hen should have layer but probably to stressed after a coop escape and dog chase. So 1 of 2 is still a great number after today's events

Now only 2/11 yesterday, but we are in for a nice couple of days weather wise, so hopefully they'll pick up the pace!

2 so far, and expect 3 more (though, with the sun change maybe not, we shall see). I have 3 dozen in my fridge right now! Umm, that's a LOT of eggs!

I started freezing my extras now so that we don't run out. 4 so far today. Should get 2-4 more yet.

My girls need a break every now and then so i give it to them .

How do you freeze them? Do you leave them in the shell or do you put them in a container with no shell?

I crack them into a lightly sprayed ice cube tray. I am getting some pretty good sized eggs so sometimes an egg overflows and I end up with some egg white ones which I can use for white cakes and such. After they freeze I put them in a ziplock and thaw at need.
