Stop lowering the protein content of the feed by mixing things in. Layer feed is about 16% protein at most. By cutting it with scratch, you are reducing that protein content. Egg whites are nearly 100% protein, and it has to come from somewhere. Not enough protein means no eggs.

The mix I'm giving them is not reducing protien content. Wheat is 12.6%, sunflower seeds 16.6%, linseed 23.7%. These are the main things they are getting as scratch and the overall protein is not low. Corn does not generally get used as scratch over here and only makes up a tiny amount of the mix (less than 5%). Any they only get a tiny amount of this mix with their layers mash making up the bulk of their feed. The two of them are eating their way through more than a kg of layers mash a week each.

5/6 for a week and a half. My white leghorn is the one not laying. I think it's due to the cold snap we are having here in SC, 24degreesF in the coop right now.

I went out early unplugged the one of 2 heat lamps, petted most my bards and the two reds as they don't let me clean or spread new shavings till I do. I am 4/13 as of right now but know I will have a few more later today. excitedly waiting for the burlap I orderedfor my birds.
