How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

My girls are making me proud!!! Another 13/14.

Baby sat my 1 year old grandson today so I wasn't out to much today but it's still pretty cold here. It's 23 here right now and it's after 8pm so things are looking up!!!

I have 8 layers in 1 coop; 8 layers in a 2nd coop ( some of which are close to 3 years old); & 4 young layers in a 3rd coop.
Only 1 Black Penedesenca was laying, she has stopped since I switched her coop a couple of weeks ago. I don't think the new coop gets as much light as the old coop. I have 3 white leghorns in that same coop, they were laying when I first got them,at Christmas, but have stopped since I moved the Black Penedesencas in there. This coop has no added light.
I have 5 EE & 2 RIR & 1 (not to standard) Black Penedesenca in a second unlighted coop. In the 3rd & oldest coop I have 2 Black Austrolorps, 3 Iowa? Blues ( I can't remember what the first part is, but they are black hens) (1 of the Austrolorps & all 3 Blues aren't laying yet that I know of). In that coop I also have 6 RIR, some of which are really backyard mixes (RIR/Black sex link), some of these hens are 3 years old.
I got 5 eggs today.

2 for 3 today. Have to decide what do with them during the upcoming blizzard. They could be buried completely with the snow levels they are talking about.

12 today not sure on a count of how many are laying. 30-5(cockerals)-4(too young)-1(possible hermaphrodite-not sure yet its a silkie) so out of 20 possible eggs I got 12 today with probably at least two I didn't find as well. It was a good day. Also of the 20(8 are bantams, four silkies) BTW one if my silkies is probably my best layer before full winter set in(I'm in WI) she gave me a perfect white egg every day. She's my only white layer.

Final count at 5:30 tonight is 11 of 16 so far, 5 are not old enough that means all of my of age birds have layed an egg today all young birds. 9 Brahmas , 5 Plymouth or Bard Rocks, 2 pesky Reds I would love to give away or have for dinner. planning on putting the burlap around the inside of my main geodesic coop. I have decided to wait on another coop with 5 see if I can sell any before I have more layers.

I had a good run going for awhile. Today 10/14.
They may be missing me a little. I have watched my grandson from 7am to 4:30pm Thursday and today. I spend a lot of time out with them cause my wife works from home and I don't have to be as quiet out there.
