Wow, I get around 7-8 eggs a day. You have some really good breeds :) I've wanted a laced Wyandotte, what do think about the breed?

shes wonderful. Loves looking on the flock from afar (she'll just to your shoulder just to see everyone else). She IS the prettiest of all our girls. Terrified of the big girls but getting along she'll eventually adjust to the coop. Past few nights have been on the perch right next to big girls. Past week been up on corner perch w her brooder box mates. First 2 wks of coop all 3 squished into nesting box. Every day is an improvement.when we replenish our flock, this breed is top on our list.

Oh good! I'm definitely gonna look into the breed!

Here I sit 9 of 18 + 2 today new tarp dragged over the coop as we got back from sojourn to see
first born not favored son and his wife for late lunch taking a break before making dinner here now
just fed the thundering herd of dogs we have
sitting with 9 Barred Rock
8 Easter Egger
1 F-1 Olive Egger
1 F-1 Olive Egger cockerel

I see you are still getting a descent egg count from your girls and I am thinking they must be getting worms or extra bugs to eat .

I got 2 of my eggs for the EE's today they are making me so proud .
I think the 10 hens in the larger coop are finally finished with their molt, plus they have lighting in their coop, while the other 2 coops do not have artificial lighting. They do get a chance to hunt for bugs and worms on a daily basis.

I forgot to add that I got 9 eggs last night and only 5 eggs tonight. The low tonight is suppose to be around 40 degrees.
