Congratulations on all the first eggs!!! So exciting! For everyone new to the thread...welcome!

I've missed a lot lately with all that's been going on.

The girls weren't laying much, and I haven't been keeping track.
I thought everyone had went through molt but apparently not.
There's a few girls looking rough and feathers under the roosts.
Walk out to the coop today and got a shock.
Today - 6 eggs

Chicken eggs 1 I think the ladys are taking a break do to the snow we had this week

Ducks I can see that momma duck is making a new clutch but I cant really get in there to count as the sticker bush she picked is quit a big one and I don't want to disturb much as I might leave a hole big enough for other animals like ravines, who just enjoy eating duck eggs this time of year .

6 maybe 7 eggs yesterday. I got to stop by my house for a few hours and checked on the chickens. ! coop had 5 eggs, but 1 had a big hole in it. Another coop had shell pieces in a nest box

. And the 3rd nest box had a rubber egg, so I think 1 of the pullets has begun laying eggs!

Sounds like you had a great egg haul !!!! I bet your ladys sure do miss you wile you or off taking care of everyone .

Sure hope you spent your Christmas with loved ones family and friends
