How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Yay! I got 3 hens 2 days ago , and got them settled into their coop yesterday. I went to check on them yesterday and found 2 LARGE eggs!

I'm so excited! They are my first eggs ever!!

Well, except for the smooshed up one I found in their temporary cage yesterda!

2/3- pretty good!

I am shocked. I didn't know they could lay more than one a day.

I get 8 to 10 eggs a day now.

But I think that my 2 BR hens are going to go Broody on me. They're good mothers but I need the eggs more than the babies right now!?

Don't get me wrong.

I LOVE baby chicks as much as the next person but they need to pay for their room and board.

The money I make from selling their eggs is too pay for their feed. Which is $10.92 for a 50 pound bag.
