How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I got five Monday, forgot to ask hubs for yesterdays count. It's dark when I get home from work now and I don't open the coop door til 6 AM these days. Had a white egg from one of the RIRs.

Must get light later than here. The sun is down here by 6:15 PM, way dark by 7:15 PM, sun rises about 6:15 AM.

Um, is your hen broken? RIRs don't lay white unless maybe their "dye factory" is broken. Don't know if that ever happens.

opposite ends of the states here I do not get to take dark glasses off till 8 that is dark to me

I spent 16 years in Phoenix (moved last Christmas eve) , don't miss the summers. But I have a feeling I'm gonna miss the winters this winter.

Yeah, fortunately last winter was pretty mild. The weather's been a bit strange and a lot wetter than normal. Typically when summers are wetter it carries over to winter with a wet & cold winter. Snow doesn't really melt off until spring melt here so having several feet of snow can be a PITA all winter.
