How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Snow is gone, 50s today and windy. GC

My 23 RIR and EE,s have been giving me 12 to 18 eggs a day without lights in this their first winter, very happy so far.

They should lay their first winter without light. But tell that to at least 2 of my 6 pullets who started then stopped! 3 again today, second day in a row for the 3 that are laying.

0 today, i knew I'd pay for that extra egg yesterday. I did see alot of nest checking though.

Yea I had one broke and eaten in the nest in the main coop
had two in the new one seems that is all today

what kind of birds do you have? do you have light in the coop ?

I am at 4 with one broke in nest hard time getting to the coop 5 pies done dinner rolls now close to going in the oven
