1 that I almost missed. I saw a pile of cedar shavings near the usual egg spot and thought to give it a stir with my hand. Felt something firm. The egg had been burried. Not sure if it was purposely by Nugget or someone else or if it was just the result of excessive scratching. Guess I need to be on my toes.

2! That means all that noise from Eggsmarelda this morning signaled her laying her first egg! Nugget had already laid one that I had collected.
That leaves Repecca but I think she may not get going for a bit due to her crop issues. Wynnie and Henneth Fowltrow are still too young so no expectations there yet.

And boy can chickens move bedding around scratching... thats probably how your egg got buried! I swept part of the coop yesterday but left piles. Today you would never know it was swept.

total of 3 one can hold just like 4 banty or 3 normal size main coop is huge 17 feet in diameter new coop dedicated now to silky can hold 8
