5/17! Three days in a row now with 5 a day. New EE laid! One from yesterday didn’t. Here’s the green one from yesterday, mint one from today and a white one from today.

Nope! Just a regular ol EE! I hope that color sticks. It’s gorgeous.

They don't change color, it will always be olive. Probably crossed with a darker brown laying breed.

Donner was just standing there and then out rolled a teeny weeny egg the size of a shooter marble!

Well what do you expect?? You stood there staring at her and she figured she had to produce SOMETHING so you would go away. Too much pressure!

They don't change color, it will always be olive. Probably crossed with a darker brown laying breed.

I’ve heard of egg color changing from their first egg. She didn’t lay yesterday... I’m hoping for one today!

I suppose it can happen but other than slightly lighter sometimes. I figure their "dye pot" runs a bit low after a string of eggs. Regardless, your olive layer will always lay a darker shade of green.
