I posted but havent' had any replies and want to try to get sorted in the morning as I'm a bit worried about Doris the slightly dim silkie as the big girls are being mean to her :hit. I posted here:

Well 32 eggs, a few more will be added Friday morn, in the bator and haven't checked for new eggs today. Depending on how thing look when I candle I may let the hens hatch some as well.
We shall see in about a week.
Cracked a goose egg and it looked kind of fertile. If she lays more I will prolly let he keep them. She's at 19 so far so doubt many more are coming.

2/3 today (unless someone has snuck one under Doris - but I dont' want to disturb her when I just popped the fertalized eggs under her this morning - I'll check later or tomorrow) - what a let down after 2 days of 9/3 :lau
Wow are they that sensitive? I dont' think much phases my girls - they have been used to a crazy 3 year old running around since they were tiny - yelling, jumping, banging etc:lol: - maybe I should market my cunning plan - you want a chilled out flock - get yourself a crazy toddler / preschooler :lau:jumpy:ya:ya
Well... I have 3 kids and as long as they stay on the outside of the chicken yard, the flock doesn’t care. But once they’re inside the chicken yard... they do get a little sensitive. However! It didn’t phase them.. 16/17 today!
