Thank You! So far we’ve been getting eggs everyday since the move. Yesterday we got 4 and today we have gotten 6 so far. They love their coop and run. This weekend I think we’re going to put them in an area in the yard where they can free range for awhile. Rocky the Rooster does such a good job at protecting them. He is so proud lol. The girls will even come up to us when we’re in the run or when we come to the run door. They are getting spoiled lol.

3/3 today but one was a bit wrinkled and they'd knocked it out and it had a little poo on it, I tried to wipe it off with a leaf and it broke in my hand! Mabel laid another of her odd eggs that I mentioned the other day so I'll get a pic later like Bruce suggested.

33 Eggs Today, 6 of 11 eggs hatched overnight, hopefully the rest hatch since the incubator been unplug accidentally.

Yeah developing eggs can take a chill and often be fine. Overheating is way worse.

1/3 here - really odd - not done that since the first week they were laying. I changed thier food a week ago (gradually converting from squished up processed granules to a more wholegrain diet but only 1 change and not increased or anythign since then), and yesterday there were coops moving in / getting set up and then Doris the slightly Dim silkie had obviously 'dissapearred' from thier coop - maybe they are missing the fluffy pancake in the corner so who knows what is going on with them!

My husband pointed out that if all this lot hatch we'll have 18 chickens, I muttered something about freezer camp for roosters but didn't let him reflect too long on what that chicken maths may mean to his coop building roster

Oh no that is so annoying - I had a 3 year old wake me at 2.30 because he missed me (he is still in our room as renovations haven't got to an extra bedroom yet) and again at 5am - and he kind of went back to sleep for a bit. But chickens - that is a bit much ! I didn't realise that incubators did that - I'm even happier I went for the broody hen option now! What have you got in there Penny?
