New chicks though! Super Excited! Getting a variety... Golden Polish, Calico Princess, Delaware, Cinnamon Queen, Prarie Bluebell Egger, maybe a Leghorn. Bumping our flock back up to 10!

What a nice variety of additions you will have. Maybe get one of those Prairie Green eggers too. Or a Olive Egger or a Sapphire Gem. I am just full of suggestions ha!!

But the ones you listed seem great to me!!

5 eggs from 6 hens again! Another 4-5 weeks before pullets should start laying.

Doesn’t look like the membrane was broken so I’ll use it tomorrow for breakfast.

12 eggs today. Kind of crushed one in the egg carton, but the membrane is still intact so either I'll eat it tomorrow or maybe I'll give it to the dog.

11 eggs yesterday according to the chick sitter (neighbor). Number is down quite a bit. Don’t know if it’s because sitter missed checking the other nest boxes or something else is going on. Maybe they just miss me! Haha haha!
I’ll be back tomorrow night.

Mine are so mad that crazy white dog got in 4 from the main 3 from silky

10 today according to the chicken sitter. Less and less.

Also had one on the lower roost board by the nest boxes last night. Not usual at all. And tonight I have one on the floor! What the heck is going on??

The sitter isn’t following direction either. Not too bad but certainly not the routine I laid out. Grr. I hope that’s all that’s got the hens out of their routine as well. I’m home tomorrow evening so we’ll see how things snap back into place.

13 eggs for me today. We have been under heat advisories too, so I have been limiting my time outside.
I have a hen trying to go broody in the main barn. I keep taking her eggs, but I know that when I leave on Tuesday for Jamaica my husband won't take the eggs from her. She bites! I almost always come home from trips to find at least 1 broody hen!

Took the 4 black sex link I bought to the main coop tonight that is all from them I do have 4 black copper marans and 2 cockerel one black copper one EE I will raise they are getting along good now see if it holds when I move them in
