How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I got 2 eggs today, 1 white and 1 brown. Today's brown is a darker color then yesterday, that means I have a buff orpington and a wyandotte laying. Which one layed which one?

That’s a long day for both of you. And her friends - lol! I hope it all worked out ok.

Left on vacation today so got 4 eggs before I left. Rained a good amount in the morning. A lot cooler too. WonderIng how much we’ll get impacted by the projected artic blast.

Are any of you prepping for that?

I picked her up today after the grandson's birthday party. She seemed alright but her friends said she was in a lot of pain and laid down a lot of the time. She even left the dinner early and had her friend's husband take her back to the house. They all said he didn't mind having an excuse to leave early himself!
She just really isn't healthy enough for her to travel. It's just too hard on her back! She jsut doesn't want to admit that yet.

7 eggs today. I had a friend call and say she needs 5 dozen! Maybe in the Summer, but this time of year. I just don't see that happening, not and meeting my other customer and family's requests.

I found a newly laid egg in the nestbox about 8:30 this morning. GUESSING the same girl laid all 3 of the recent eggs 46g, 48g and now 52g.

8 eggs today and had another customer text and ask for 3 18 packs this week! That's not going to happen either, not unless the girls start kicking up their production!

Do you have molt going on too? That’s hitting now too.

Feathers everywhere! Feel pretty bad for the girls.... but worse for our egg production lol. Store bought eggs are just not the same quality!
