I got 8 chicken eggs!!!! And 9 quail eggs!!!

I got them as POL pullets, I brought them home July 28

Aha! So they went through their first adult moult this past fall and are resting up. They'll likely start back up in a month.

I have no eggs to report today!

Bummer, but then that EE has been pulling quite a load and does deserve a day off.

I still have yet to get an egg from one of my blue layers.

I hope she is just a really late bloomer.

The lonely green egg was laid while I was cleaning the coop this morning. It weighs 58 grams! The one she laid day before yesterday weighs 52 grams. Several hens peeked in at her when she was in the nest box, I'm hoping it gives them ideas of their own! Usually the others would be outside in the mornings but with snow on the ground they won't leave the coop!
