I have no eggs again today.

Is what I wanted to put instead of but I wanted to give you a point. What's going on with your girls?

3 are older Salmon Faverolles and have never laid all winter, the other 3 are pullets, 2 of which decided to molt and quit for the winter. Just the EE pullet has been laying anything at all.

There's several bantam hens that I have that have been on ovo~production vacation for months. They're just here to look cute walking around the yard I suppose.

Look at this picture......

I just for the 1st time ever got 12 eggs in one day.
I think I counted 52 birds in this picture, and not all of my pullets were in frame, just saying...
There's been a lot of just cuteness & laziness the last few months as far as my girls go! I'd keep most of them for purely entertainment purposes if nothing else.

I came out at 9 and at 9 when I close my main coop.. My speckled sussex in the grow out coop are close to big enough the outside cats won't go after them ...

Oh they are so entertaining! They have way more going on than I thought they would! Mine just don’t have bountiful egg laying as one of their acts!

i got 9 eggs today out of 10 hens that should be laying at this time woohooo.

Were talking about just one chicken right? Mine may be the worse the whole time my chick lay eggs... I just got 3.. maybe she's sick or something.. :
