That rosy colored one?
It is a Black Copper Maran that lays it, it is heavy heavy heavy on bloom. When wet it is super dark brown.

I have 1 BCM and a rooster so I’m going to have more hopefully in about 45 days. I did have hen that layer an off color plum egg. I think she was a Well Summer.

I have a couple of them that have a super heavy bloom on their eggs, not all of the BCM are like that.

I have a hen who consistently lays huge eggs! The last 2 eggs from Sunday and Monday weigh 100 grams and 104 grams!!
@penny1960 the job is going great!! I’ve had to have my hubby give me back & shoulder rubs the last 3 nights to work out the sore, stiff muscles. But I’m feeling better this morning.

Beautiful eggs you have here! My RIR decided to go on a break from laying since this past Friday she never missed a day till now... hopefully soon she will get back into laying

At that age it could be even if she is just starting are they breeder birds or hatchery ? and how many days has he not layed ?

I feel your pain! 2 out of three of my 10 month olds quit laying this past fall. The other one who laid regularly all winter has now stopped. They do what they want when they want I guess. They all appear healthy and happy.
