How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

12 from 16 nearly one year olds. My 5 Easter eggers who didn’t last an egg from Thanksgiving until feb 23 have laid 5/5 last 3 days. I take back calling them slackers.

14 out of 15 today. Still waiting on that last EE to start laying. I think she is going on 30 weeks now.

Only 1 yesterday, but a record 9 today (out of 13 hens)! Spent the beautiful day training the girls to use the nest boxes, with remarkable success! New litter material: nice fluffy pine shavings from The-Store-That-Must-Not-Be-Named-During-Chick-Days. They LOVE it!!Only 2 eggs on the floor, all the rest laid neatly in the boxes and none got eaten!Of course, now I’ve got shavings EVERYWHERE, but I’m a naturally messy person anyway.❤

Got 2 so far but there are 2 girls in the nest boxes so more on the way . Usually have 4 or 5 by this time but seems like they know its the weekend

Edit ; They finally got busy and gave me 6 again . That's 5 days in a row of 100% participation
