Only got 6 out of 14 today. That’s the least amount I’ve gotten in a long time.

My girls have been really slacking lately with this FL heat. Only 7 eggs out of 17 laying hens.

Could be a snake. I saw a 3’ snake that I could not identify near the coop the other day. I’m going to bait a minnow trap with a ceramic egg tomorrow.
I got 11 for 14 today.
One green egg was very small so I’m hoping that came from my last EE. I noticed before work today that she was scurrying around more than normal.

The tiny blue one is from the breed of micro bantam Ameraucanas I developed.

OK, it is a robin egg that was "laid" in front of the barn. No trees within 50' so maybe she is just warming up for nesting season.

3 eggs today out of 8 hens. Pretty sure only my 3 of my leghorns are laying. Side note my buff Orpington isn’t laying eggs but I must have seen my rooster mount her 4 or 5 times today alone. Weird?

No they start just before they lay if young cockerel more often
