How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I was wondering if a fake owl would work. It’s the magpies now too and they are so clever. I stopped them for a few days hanging cds all over the place but they now realise they don’t do anything.

I had a migraine all day yesterday and forgot to post, but I got 1/5.
I am thinking I might get 2 today though (none yet, just let them out) because my 7 month old Araucana just went into the nest box for the first time!! I'm so exited! ^-^

You have to turn the CD player on

13 today, one had a thin shell, so thin it started to crush when I took it out of the basket. It was from one of the EE's I got last June, hopefully this is a 1 off, her eggs are usually pretty hard shelled. Maybe I need to point out the oyster shell feeder to her in case she forgot where it is

Egg on the left is Cashew's (Araucana), egg on the right is Toffee's (Frizzle bantam)
Can I expect Cashew's eggs to get bigger, or is this about the size they will stay?

4 out of 4 today! However one of the Faverolles is flirting with being broody. She laid this morning and would screech when the others tried to join her. I grabbed her egg then and just now I went and took the rest of the eggs out from under her. She finally decided to come out and have a walk around.
