How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

This is what I had earlier in the day, I had to go to my son's house to watch the baby for a couple of days and I forgot to ask my husband, so I don't know what the final count was...I do know that 2 of my girls were in boxes, so 9 for sure.

I have six laying pullets and two 18 weeks Polish girls.
I got 5:6 today. But, this is what my egg carton looks like.
3 brown
2 blue
1 green.
When the Polish pullets begin, I will add white eggs.

Your egg basket is every bit as lovely! I might add a Blue Andalusian, for white eggs & a Cream Legbar or Ameracauna next year, for more blue eggs!

Ok no photo this time 12 from big girls maybe take a photo post tomorrow my Maran lays a really dark marans egg she ran out out of ink in her color well

I didn't mean to add Polish to my flock but, the chicks were so cute at TSC that I had to buy them! Now, I have two separate coops and flocks. UGH! . And, as a newbie chicken keeper back then, I didn't know any better. Except, I did know how to pick the girls out of a trough of straight runs. LOL
But, I do like their friendliness and head feathering so, it is worth it.

They are pretty cute!
I'm hoping to raise some meat chickens next year and they will be separated from my layers, but that is short term!
