Good morning all...I'm away from my chickens for a couple of days, so I'm hoping for some egg pictures here to get my fix...

Those are beautiful! All of my laying hens bar 7 are currently at my mothers as I am re-doing most of my adult bird pens. I do still have my chicks and pullets, ducks and ducklings here as well.
Today I got a Total of 5 chicken eggs and 2 duck eggs.
It felt very strange walking in with 5 chicken eggs for the whole day, especially since my ladies recently started laying again (spring here) and I was up to 2+ dozen a day.
I didn't take a photo of the duck eggs but I did get a photo of the chicken eggs

I want to get a white layer & another blue layer!@drstratton Thank you. I told the kids to pick 5 and they tried to make sure they had one of each coloured egg, which is how it went to 7 lol
I agree with @drstratton, no egg laying breed will gain that kind of weight in that time. And they look like CX to me as well. I suspect the people at TSC don't know their chicken breeds and at a day or 2 old one yellow chick looks like another.im not too sure on the breed they were labeled egg layers at tractor supply but when i free feed them they gained 2 lbs within a week!
Those look like cornish cross to me and they aren't egg layers...but I'm far from an expert!
thanks for letting me know. know i why i haven't gotten any eggs but its okay because i just got some RIR pullets from TSC 3 weeks ago so ill wait till i get eggs from these new ones thanks for the help5 today, they are slowing down.
