How eggciting! What breeds do you have and how many pullets/chickens? I am anxiously waiting for my 15 pullets to start laying. They were 18 weeks yesterday and no eggs yet. This is my very first flock. View attachment 2362477

You’ll probably have a few weeks still on some of those. My australorps and ameraucanas usually take around 24-26 weeks to start. I’m not sure about the other breeds though.

You didn’t get a breed list? Mine was attached to the box they came in. I ordered these specific breeds (no assortment).

Got 4 today when I wasn't expecting any.
We recently moved them into their new coop and I figured it'd be a while before they got comfortable enough to lay again.

I'm in the same boat as you! This is my first flock and I'm so excited for those eggs! Mine are 21-27 weeks and still no eggs! I'm so impatient, but I can't wait!

5 today! That big one is the size of a double yolker but it’s a single normal sized yolk and a whole lotta whites.

yeah, here he is

He actually came from another farm, a friend of a friend was trying to find homes for some kittens so I took one. He’s gonna be my barn cat when he grows up.

I get 13 to 18 eggs a day from 20 hens plus gonna be more here soon in summer
