i got 9 eggs today out of 10 hens that should be laying at this time woohooo.

I only have 3 girls that currently lay, and I get 9 eggs per day, occasionally 12, but I have to be really lucky and it depends on the time I collect and the time they lay.

1 again today and 3 more birds look like they barely survived the plucker. I see many 0 egg days starting in the near future but I've been freezing some since the end of Aug. Hope to have enough to make it to February when they start back to work after collecting unemployment for months

I have been getting 5 duck eggs and 1-3 chicken eggs pretty steadily.

Nearly all my adult chickens are molting.
Amazingly one I thought would take winter off is still laying. She is a 5 year old BSL.

I’m pretty new at this and now I‘m confused, or maybe just raising slackers. What kind of birds do you have that lay three or four eggs a day?

Yeah the math definitely doesn't add up. I've had a couple of times where a hen laid twice in the same day but not often and one was early morning, one just before dark.
