I haven't posted in here in weeks, haven't had eggs in months but today I was gifted with a 62 gram egg from one of my Isa Brown pullets! Not bad for a first egg! Never had a first egg so late in the year before!

My Banty's had free range of our entire yard...sometimes I would find a nest, sometimes we would be surprised with a new batch of chicks! Now my new flock is contained in a 110'x50' free range pen and I don't get those surprises anymore! Glad you found the nest!

I'm finally caught up! Here are the eggs I collected from the 5th - to the 10th!

Yeah that's hard to keep track with that much ground...we have 5!

Of course whoever built the coop put it on the edge of the property, between our driveway and a road. So instead of having them tucked out of the way, they hop the fence and wander through the trees next to the road (ours until you get to whatever the city deems is their road I guess) or run across the driveway anytime you're nearby.
