14 eggs today. I gave my very good friend 4 Easter Eggers and he gave me the incubator I just used for my last hatch! I have 2 now. No excuses if I need to hatch a large clutch!

The worst!!!!!!!! All winter I had to do this. An awful lot of money spent on grocery store eggs for someone with 12 chicken.

The kids were in charge of counting. This is what I got... they brought an entire nest box into the kitchen

7 today. They spent lot of time stalking the lawn mower and my neighbors' roofers today. Hopefully tomorrow there's less excitement in the yard and more time in the nesting boxes.

12. Worst day since they started laying again in early January.

Of course, I've recently culled a few, and just sent six hens to a neighbor, but its few enough I was casually looking for hidden nests in the pasture.
