Oh, and I forgot to mention that I don’t have a rooster... (can’t keep them) so they’re sitting on nothing they can hatch.I now have 3 broody hens outs of 6 hens... so 50% of the big girls are broody. (Good thing I have 5-7 pullets that are 8 weeks now!)
On another note, is it usual for a chicken to be broody for 5+ weeks? My Silkie Mochi has been broody for that amount of time.


so funny story i have been fasting for the past 2 months and i havent even tasted my eggs yet and i have exactly 5 hours left till i break my fast .i break fast at 3AM and you have no idea hw excited i am. Any suggestions on how i should eat my first eggs ??
