How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

9 yesterday. My 2 that were trying to be broody are finally back laying but I have a Wyandotte not laying now and of course Wanda Beth is probably good for 3-5 eggs a year if even that. LOL!!!

11 today. Had another shell-less egg. An Australorp was in the nest but that’s no sign she laid it. There were 3 other eggs in the nest.

7 today. Looks like one EE is still hiding eggs. Probably protesting this heat wave. Luckily it should cool down again after tomorrow. On the up side, my bantam EE laid her first egg today!

The chicken in the nest was Luca, last year’s worst broody! She’s at it again. I think they are going down the list to try and make me lose it!

You know what you need? (If you don't have one already) An egg apron! I bought one in anticipation of all the eggs I'm going to get this summer

I just imagine my self in those i would be a laughing stock at my house if anybody sees me in one of that.. but i could see how practical it is
